Rich, I've been interested in getting more info on a SPACE CD that was
offered, the last time I heard about it, for about $100. It gave
supposedly thousands of pictures, and some short "movie" clips, of
different planets & asteroids in our solar system, as taken by several
satellites.
Have you ever seen or heard about this product?

You might be thinking about a product called "Murmurs of Earth" published
by Warner New Media. I have seen it in retail outlets, and I'm sure it's
available from some of the vendors in the VNDRS.TXT file (Lib #10).

Lou, I have seen this product at a swap meet. It is not Murmurs of Earth.
Murmurs of Earth is the contents of the record that was put on the Voyager
space probe. I have Murmurs and am currently writing a review on it. I
found the bokk, sound, pictures and music to be very interesting, but there
are very few shots of space on the CD-ROM. It is a record to convey a
message about the people of Earth. You may be looking for a CD-ROM called
World View, but this is only 100 images and $39.
