To anyone who might know
I am currently using an Aztec 16 bit sound card and considering upgrading to an
Ensoniq Soundscape wavetable card. Will this improve my results using sampled
sound with Razor Pro? Are there any advantages you know of to using this card
with RP? I don't think I will get one unless I can expect any better results
when playing back my 16 bit audio files with my ANIs. We have one at the
office, and it sounds great with games that support wavetable, but that isn't
enough reason for me to go out and buy one, especially since I will loose a
slot in my system (my current sound card has a CD interface).
Thanks
Mitch
Unless you really like games or want to work with midi or are getting better
WAVE I/O
dont do it.. There is no Razor Pro advantage that I can imagine. I have a
Turtle
Beach card and am very happy. My primary reason for getting one was for cleaner
wave audio and better software. The midi stuff is nice when I play Rebel
Assault
or I am doing a presentation and am in need of disk space thats about all.
Hope this helps
