Mark, Is the Retina a Zorro-III board? I'm not sure, but I think it's only Zorro-II. If that is the case, I think you want to look at another boar for your 3000 like a Spectrum, Picasso or Piccolo.. They're full 32bit, Zorro-III boards that will operate much faster than Zorro-II (16bit) boards. It might be necessary for you to perform a Buster chip upgrade in the 3000 to get the extra performance, but it's almost certainly worth it.

Chris, The Piccolo and the Spectrum are Zorro II/III autosensing boards. The Picasso and Retina are Zorro II only. Dean DKB Software

Chris, Retina I believe is Zorro II only. I ordered an EGS Spectrum. When I get it, I'll post on how it behaves when it arrives. Thanks. …………. Mark via AP 1.052
