I've heard that you are going to make the 4091 controller and are wondering When? What specs? How much? A sugestion: skip the harddisk space and make some space for memory modules (the same as motherboard?) Or both with and without ram. Please hurry as my customers are screaming for some 32bit controllers espesially for the Studio 16. Geir, When – should be mid December. Specs – Identical to the CBM A4091. How Much – To be determined. Probably about 10-20% more than Commodores price. At this time the design will be the same as the Commodore A4091. Adding memory to the design is a frequently requested item. Demand will determine additional features if any. I'm hurrying as fast as I can!!!! 8) Dean DKB Software

What's the solution for us folks with ancient soldered Busters in our A4000s who want to buy A4091 controllers from you? I hear Commodore's not really performig the replacements for folks nowadays due to lack of parts. Is this true?

All repairs of faulty Busters are being handled through SMG, Commodore's contract repair facility. If you only need the Buster replaced, this can be handled through your local dealer or service center. If the Buster is soldered to the motherboard, then you will get a board swap. There have been a shortage of parts, but my contacts at SMG tell me that supplies are beginning to arrive and are being fed through to those that need them.
