While I agree 110% with your words, I disagree with your comment about
the AutoCAD interface. It's simply the worst interface ever in a
computer. Have you ever hear about Microstation <G>
Well, it could be a matter of taste. After all, I thought that the
interface in animator was easy until I see people negative comments
about it. I still think that's easy but now I say that "it's easy…
for me" 😉
There 100 ways of looking the Fujiyama, and all are correct.
However, this thing about IPAS is not the Fuji, and it's only one way
for me. Same as yours. Uhhm, by the way, any chance to get in your
next IPAS beta testing program <g,d&r>
My words were "I appreciated the extendability of the interface", not
"I think it's a great interface". Two different things totally.
"extendible" – adv: 'to draw out or add on'
Meaning that it is very easily customized to make it whatever you
want, and to set up the commands in whatever order makes sense to
you. I never said that I liked the shipping version of the menu
structure, but it is so easy to create your own that I never cared.

Well, the stock answer to that is "there are two chances, slim and
none, and Slim just left town!" <g> Just kidding, we'll see what
happens when the 3DS IPAS3 toolkit is available!
Are you including users of PC-DOS 6.1 in your beta testing? PC-DOS 6.1
is NOT just a mere clone of MS-DOS 6.0. There are some major
differences!

Thanks for the detailed technical dissertation on the programming
aspects of DOS 6.0 vs. 6.1 – I knew I could depend on you for a
straight answer! <bg>
There is actually quite a bit more difference. PC-DOS runs faster and the DOS
kernel is smaller. Also the "bundled" utilities are different. I understand
that the Boca Raton version was rewritten to increase speed and to make the DOS
kernel smaller. The over-all level of optimization is higher for PC-DOS than
for MS-DOS.
