Sorry to rehash old topics but I just got into this thread. The DPS PAR is an
MPEG board for going to tape from .TGA realtime?

Yes, sort of! It's actually a proprietary motion-JPEG system, very high
quality, very well done. Their Amiga version has been shipping since last
summer, the PC version should be out by the end of the year if I have any
say in the matter! (And since we are writing the drivers, I do!) <g>

specs now, not just the Amiga).

Will the DPS/PAR hardware come with software which will allow cut and paste
type video editing (a la AAP or AVID)? The thing does sound very interesting
but if it can allow me to edit video digitally, it will be Just What I've Been
Waiting For.
Or will it work with some other existing editing software?

We are just writing the drivers, not the programs. DPS will have to step in
