Business was good last month! (For a change. :^) At least things are finally beginning to slow down – the layer of garbage on my desk is only about 3" deep now! To avoid mentioning any product specific features, I'll just say that one project was an animated remote control with cartoonish rubbery type motion. The second was another project similar to the 'Arcade' (which I think made it on the Amiga Gang tape), though in this case, the fly-through was of a 'Rec Room'. (I was talking with Brent Malnack, but due to legal constraints he was unable to supply me with a copy of the DMM to do the PoolTable motion, so I just had to do it manually. Oh well.) The interesting thing about that project is that it was rendered at 640×480 using square pixels. The IFF images were moved onto a Novell network from an attached Toaster system. Once on the Mac, the images were converted to PICT and then output to laserdisc for later MPEG encoding. (By the time it gets to MPEG, its lookin' pretty ratty. :^) Thanks for asking. BTW, how's life in 'the Chronic Rift'? Keep On Toastin' Erik Flom

No, just a local thing for Viacom in Castro Valley. (Just as well, I was unhappy with the results I got from the bones in LW 3.0 – though by the end I was getting decent results.) He's called 'The Clicker', but he'll always be 'Randy Remote' to me. (That was my original working title before they told me his name. :^) Keep On Toastin' Erik Flom
