#LENSE FLARE NETWORK

Hi!, I need some tech support with 3dsr3 and the lense flare IPAS it seems that
it will not render accross a network yet it renders on each individual machine
fine it appears that it is not putting the loc files in the correct place is
this a bug or am I doing something wrong please help I am in the middle of a
project and this is a real slow down [D [D [D [D [D [D
Bad timing. Gary's offline for the month of November, and I have nothing to do
with the Yost Boutique. Perhaps someone else on the forum can help you with
this.

have you tried copying the flare.ixp file to each workstation's local hardrive
and have the 3ds.set point to the local process path? That may help. Otherwise
you could change the flare.ixp file attributes to read only.
I believe Gary told someone (MARION K. MARKS?) that the lens flare routine
would NOT work across the network as is. It will be fixed and upgraded for
free towards the end of the year, but for now….

You need to add the line:-
OUTPUT-RENDER-COORDS = YES
to 3ds.set.
