simple "don't know" or even "get lost", would would let me know this is not an

I have no idea what happened, but the problem vanished. I started to attack it
again last night when – wonder of wonders – the program came right up. I had
reason to un/re-install both my spreadsheet and word processor the other day,
and that may have had something to do with it. However, I'll rack this one up
as another un-solved mystery of the MS_World. In any case, DPaint is working.
