Out local public access TV station seems to have picked up the Lazarus virus. Since I'm not familiar with the Amiga 2000 I'm looking for the name and possible source of virus checking software for this machine. Any help appreciated.

hi try Virusz ther is a version 3.07 but some older version should fix this too. You may find mor viruscheckers while visiting AmigaFF which is the filefind utility for amiga hera at cs. Just try it there… Good luck

Last I heard, there is no such thing as a Lazarus virus. If you scrag a disk such that the disk's label is unreadable, then DiskDoctor is run on it, DiskDoctor names the disk Lazarus (as in "brought back from the dead).

If the utility "DiskDoctor" was used on that disk, it doesn't have a virus. DiskDoctor renames the "resurrected" disk that when it does the disk salvage procedure on the broken disk.
