Durant, I recently upgraded to an ATI Ultra+ 2MB (ISA) on a 486-33. I have found it to have good drivers & to work well with DOS & Windows. I tried the Crystal Fonts — they looked "nice", but to me they looked fuzzy so I stopped using them. Bill M.

Bill: Thanks for the comment about the fuzziness of Crystal Fonts. I tend to prefer sharp screen fonts (even if they're only one pixel wide, as in some monospaced fonts), so your comment reinforces my doubts about anti-aliased fonts. — Durant

PMJI, When Crystal Fonts first came out, I just had to see them and I was horrified with the results. Too bad they didn't have a way of turning the feature off when you were dealing with text, because the feature may help people who strictly deal with graphics. As a side note, I was lucky enough not to have paid for the board to discover the side effect.
