Sometimes new technologies slip past me. I'm not familiar with the
Rocket Chip. What technology is it based on? Is it new?
I don't know any specifics on the technology. My guess is the "Rocket"
tag line was invented by somebody in their marketing department. It
would seem to be the successor to the WD90C31 accelerator. It is on
a VLB board expandable to 2MB. It was shipped with the ALR Evolution
V Pentium system.
