#CROSSDOS

Thanks for all the information.
If I can buy CROSSDOS separately I think that that is what I'll do.
Purchasing the WorkBench 2.1 upgrade is a much better choice, and costs less
also.
If CROSSDOS is only $35 where do I find the WB 2.1 upgrade for less than that?
crossdos is usually about $45 and the 2.1 upgrade is much more than just cross
dos. it adds functionality to the enviroment and more extensive outline font
support and asl.reqestors and lots more for the money. and is around $45 mail
order. look at some ads. like grapewine.
Thanks, I'll do that.
I wouldn't trust Grapevine. They advertise great prices, but they
have yet to have the items in stock when I've ordered.
In fact, I've had my 2.1 upgrade on order for over a MONTH now, with
no word from them. They constantly claim "backorder problems", and
say "if you need it any time soon, buy it from someone else". I'm
just about ready to do just that. Problem is, Grapevine is the only
company advertising that they carry the new 2.05 chip. I'm giving
them one more week before I *permanently* take my business elsewhere.
I think I missed something here..I've never had a 'blem with
Grapevine (when i ordered 2.1 it took a few weeks and I wanted it the
the next day but…)

Imagine getting THOUSANDS or orders for that in a month. You would be on back
order for it too. After all…companies must wait for the items to arrive.
I assure you that there are literally thousands of items on back order from
Commodore. However, if you must insist on blaming Grapevine, you may feel free
to do so. That is your prerogative.
I'd suggest calling the office, asking for Mona, and seeing just how far you
are down on the list on that item.
Have a pleasant day.
