While joyfully skimming through my December, 1993 AmigaWorld, I
suddenly found myself experiencing a wierd, metaphysical sens of
displacement. Closer inspection of the page at which I had paused, I
noted with quirked eyebrows a review of 3D Studio Release 3 for the
PC. Wait a minute… for the PC???
Ah HA! My page 23 is in fact not an AmigaWorld page at all, but a
DTVW page! I know they're both great magazines, but when they start
to take on their own intelligence and DTVW starts overcoming AW,
someone must draw a line!
Is this a conspiracy? Is this subliminal advertising? Is this a
tease (the entire review for the aforementioned product is not
included – just what's on that single page)?
What's the story, AmigaWorld? And more importantly, what bits of
Amiga Enlightenment is on the missing page 23? Or do I have to but
DTVW to find out? 8^)
It was reported earlier as a mistake made by the printer.
I'm sure you already know that it was a printer error but your suggestions
were different 🙂

I also get annoyed when Amiga Products cross over to the PC/Mac mags
and fail to mention Amiga compatible versions in the fine print
(Supra Modems for example) Would it really hurt their image ?

Don't forget Gold Disk's Video Director. It raises the hair on the
back of my neck when Amiga support, which used to be mentioned in
8-pt. type in their ads, has now totally disappeared. You'd think our
computers were some kind of disgusting, mutant plague!
