Per 2091 manual you can install 512KB, 1MB or 2MB of memory..
Use only CMOS 256k x 4 DRAMs with a access speed of 120 ns or faster.
Slower DRAMs will not work properly. DO NOT use NMOS DRAMs, they will
damage the 2091 and void the warranty….

Does the memory on the 2091 offer any advantage over other memory cards? I'm
not particularly cramped for memory now.

It is just ordinary FAST RAM. The big advantage is that you don't have to buy
a second memory card, you get SCSI and memory on the same board. I went that
route, getting a 2091 for performance reasons and then buying memory chips to
add another two megabytes to my A2000.
