There's no doubt that we'll be the proud owners of the Amiga system. At this point it's a matter of timing. We are pretty good on the PC and want to get a product line out as soon as possible. It'll be the PC first and then the Amiga. How diff. is it to 'learn' the Amiga coming from the PC environment? Ed…

Yes, I forget the particular name, but if you go to the Amiga file finder and search by the keywords wav, sound and/or convert it will show you the relevant files. I downloaded an IFF to Wav converter. It works like a charm. I use the converted wavs on my ACCK…windows…AACCCK here at work. Hope this helps. Eric

Thanks Eric, I'll check into it. There are some good .WAV files in SpaceForum I'd like to download, but until now have had no way to use 'em. -Pat "Cruising the North Coast on Autopilot"

I use OmniPlay V1.23 to play and convert .WAV files ti 8SVX IFF's. It works fine! I think the archive is called oplay.lha here in the Amiga forums. -Troy

Well, I tried running it through the Amiga File Finder, and they haven't heard of it, and I get no joy browsing the LIBs here in Amiga Arts, either. -Pat "Cruising the North Coast on Autopilot"

Hi Pat, What you're looking for is AMISOX.LHA in Lib 7 of the AmigaArts Forum. I think it will work for you. In addition, it can convert many other formats as well. – Stuart

I've downloaded that program, Stuart, but I find the docs nigh onto impossible to dechipher–guess I'm just not a programming type. -Pat "Cruising the North Coast on Autopilot"
