Badges I don't need no stinking badges…. I just called autodesk before buying 3ds3 to ask what was comming next. When they laid that on me I asked if changing os's would make upgrading more expensive (speaking strictly in the software tense) Who ever it was said no and belched loadly in the phone. Alpha is looking better all the time! Gary

I don't like what I read in your message about calling Autodesk. Are you speaking facetiously or did this really happen? If it did, could you tell me which number you called and who you spoke to?

I meant no harm. I called the main phone number and asked to talked to a salesman. When one got on I asked the question about the future of 3ds and I was told that of which I am accused. My reason for asking was that since I had just forked out some hard earned savings I was worried what the new direction for 3ds might cost me down the line. I admit I worry too much about somethings I appologize if what I did was out of line. Respectfully,

Gary, Please don't take my message to you the wrong way. I don't think that you did anything wrong or out of line. I am concerned that someone here at Autodesk did. If they did, I want to track that down so that I can correct the situation. -Brian Rudolph Autodesk Product Support

Brian: Thanx! You had me worried. I just bought 3ds3 and thought I was an outcast before my first render. Thanx for the note. Gary
