Does anyone know if the Panasonic 7010 will work with Windows NT? It is my understanding that Corel licensed some of their SCSI code to Microsoft.

At the moment I know of nobody successfully reporting that they can access the 7010 via NT. This will take an NT driver, and I haven't heard of one yet, although since Corel did the original 7010 driver for Matsushita, I wouldn't be surprised. On the other hand, I've just seen reports that the 7010 is about to be replaced with a new model….

Corel / Panasonic / Matsushita?? Who actually makes the thing?

Matsushita, the largest electronics giant in Japan and second largest (after Phillips NV of Holland) in the world. Matsushita OEMs to tons of folks under different brand names, as well as selling things themselves under the Panasonic, Technics, and, outside North America, the National brand names. To my knowledge, Corel has never made hardware. They got it from OEMs.

Matsushita makes the drive, Panasonic distributes it, we OEMed it. I hope this clears up some things. Laszlo

I'm not either. I do seem to have heard that Corel did some of the SCSI drivers.
