There is an add for CorelSCSI version 2 in the November 8 InfoWorld, on page
101. It says "For upgrade information or to order, call Corel: 1-800-772-6735
ext.22". I called, and they didn't have a clue. No pricing, no info on new
goodies, nothing. They said "Try calling our 'Corporate Sales Department'". I
called the toll call (from Oakland, CA) 1-613-728-3733, and THEY didn't have a
clue. They said "call back after Comdex". I bought CorelSCSI v1.2 less than a
month ago, and was hoping that they would upgrade me for free. Oh well…
When is Comdex over, anyway?

Around Nov 17 or 20, if I'm not mistaken. I got one of those free admission
coupon from ATI, but alas I'm not free at those dates.
BTW, does the ad say what new features will in in version 2?
Yeah, the ad says that version 2 will support scanners (good for them! Guess
my bugging and arguments helped!) and writable CD ROMs. It also has a much
jazzier interface, at least the Windows version. It also has a higher price
($129 vs. $99) but no info on $ to upgrade.
Tx. Probably around $50.
All upgrade prices have been posted….Geez, I hope I didn't send the message
