MiroVIDEO DC1 TV

Hi David
Have installed the Miro DC1 TV yet? Everything fine? I have my board
installed since july. It took me several weeks to get what I wanted.
To my experience the first thing you have to get right is the
"reading" and "writing" speed of your hard disk. With the program
HDSPEED.EXE and your Cache you have to be sure that they match as
close as possible. If not there will be a big difference in quality
between te reading and the replay of the caputed shots.
If I can be of further help, leave a message.
One remark, we in europe use 25 frames per sec.

Andre,
Sorry to say that I'm out of the picture now. I had to return my DC1 board.
After trying several options, including replacing the video board, the Miro DC1
TV would NOT work on my system. I'm back to gathering various information and
trying another option. However, I should like to give credit to Miro Computer
Products in working with me and opting to refund 100% of my cost. Not all
companies would do that.

David,
I'm glad to hear of your treatment during your problems. One real measure of
the quality of a company and it's products is not just how well the products
work for everyone, but how well the company works when a customer has problems.
