#PC2B/50 BOARD SCSI HELP

NOVEMBER 15, 1993 COREL TECHNICAL SUPPORT DEAR RESPONSIBLE PERSON: I BOUGHT A COREL SCSI PRO ! FROM JAPANESE AGENCY AND TRYING TO INSTALL IT TO MY IBM-PC/AT COMPATIBLE PC IN JAPAN. THE TARGET SCSI BOARD IS CALLED PC2B/50 00696601 FROM IOMEGA. IT IS SUPPLIED WITH IOMEGA'S BERNULLI DISK DRIVE (44MB) TYPE. I WOULD LIKE TO CONNECT A HARD DISK WITH THIS BOARD. COULD YOU PLEASE ANSWER IF IT IS POSSIBLE OR NOT. IF POSSIBLE, WHICH DRIVER I MUST USE? IS IS IN COREL SCSI PRO? OR SOMEWHERE ON COMPUSERVE? PLEASE ADVISE THE JAPANESE AGENCY, CYTECH ELECTRONICS, COULD NOT HELP ME. I DO NOT ALSO KNOW ABOUT JUMPER SETTING ON THE BOARD. You might be able to use CorelSCSI with this controller if it uses an ASPI interface. If it does not, then we will be UNABLE to communicate with it. As for the jumper settings, you will have to check with the board manufacturer. I would also like to say that if you used an ASPI compliant adapter, that we have certified, then you should have no problems using this with the Bernoulli or a hard drive. I hope this helps. Laszlo
