#Artshow 3 problems

Hi!
I'm having problems running the CD Rom Artshow 3 program. My CD Rom is in good
working order, I've successfully Setup Artshow 3, I have all of the necessary
Windows CD and Multimedia drivers. I have no problems running the Corel
CD-Audio player which I installed from the same disk and can access the Screen
Savers no problem. However, when I attempt to run Artshow 3, I get a GPF : "
Artshow 3 has caused a General Protection Fault in module User.exe at
0019:39B". Looking for suggestions! Thanks.

If you read the posted apology you will understand the tardiness of my
response.
The problem is common and is easily fixed. Just follow the steps below
1) Run Media Player (comes with Windows)
2) File/Open from the cd rom drive letter.
3) Move to the Midisoft subdirectory.
4) Double click on any MID file.
5) Press the Media Player's play button.
6) Disable to warning that appears (for the future).
7) Click ok. (at this point if you are set for midi you should hear music.)
8) Press the stop button
9) Close the media player
10) Run Artshow
