Laszlo, The CD driver is CorelDRIVER version 1.10a (the README.CD file has a driver date of 11 Dec 91 on the first page of the file). You mentioned two things I would like to know more about: 1. Updating the CorelDriver. How do I get the new driver and what's involved in installing and configuring? 2. You mentioned about single and multi-session CDs. Can you explain this a little more? Thanks, DaveM

Dave, It's great to know what we're working with. <grin> Post a message in our customer service area here on Compuserve. As for single and multi-session. Single session is the writiing out information to a CD. The end of CD Marker is then written. To write another session, you go past the data stop and begin to write again creating a 'second' session. I hope this helps p.s. you will have to upgrade those drivers for PCD support….. Laszlo

Thanks for the info on CD "sessions". <<you will have to upgrade those drivers for PCD support…..>> Love to, how do I go about getting the new drivers? Are they on the forum somewhere (I have the Corel product from the Blockbuster)? DaveM

Laszlo, I will indeed place a request in the Customer Service section. However, when I began this thread I placed a msg in the Customer Service and there response was "…place this msg in the SCSI section…" Hope this doesn't happen again. DaveM

Dave, If you read the posted apology you will understand the tardiness of my response. Depending on the nature of the questions asked, the technical aspect msut be approached first. The customer service representatives have their hands full with marketing, upgrade and pricing duties and are reall not well suited to answer such questions….Sorry for the delay and the juggling. (I must say that I am not very well prepared to handle pricing, upgrade and marketing infomation and quite often reference folks to our CS area. I know I have my hands full with tech. supp. <grin> Laszlo

No problem Laszlo, no apology necessary. Sometimes the right hand gets going without the left hand knowing and the juggling act gets a little out of sync. Customer Service has offered to send me the updated drivers. All will be well soon. I have a new system waiting to be installed and wanted the drivers for the new installation. DaveM
