Bryan, I am addressing this to you because you posted the announcement (Upgrades and Packaging) about the 2.0 release. I just got 1.2b last week in an attempt to get access to my Insite Floptical under OS/2 2.1. I sent for information prior to purchasing the package and the magazine reprint that I was sent certainly indicated that the driver would support flopticals and worked under OS/2. Of course I found out that that is exactly what it did … it supports flopticals under DOS and the driver will support other SCSI devices under OS/2. Now an upgrade is conveniently announced for $79.00 that again seems to promise to deliver what I need. But, before I invest any additional funds with Corel, I want to be certain that this will solve my problem. Otherwise, I need to look to some other source for my solution. Do you know if the 2.0 driver will indeed allow access to the Insite floptical under OS/2? Thanks, Jay

Jay, Just got off the phone with the engineer. To confirm, the "INSITE" floptical was not supported under 1.2b. The IOMEGA was. CoreSCSI version 2.0 does support the INSITE floptical. I would check with with our Customer Service section on upgrade policies since you only purchased 1 week ago. Laszlo

Laszlo, Thanks for the information. I will get in touch with customer service next week and see what the upgrade policy will be. Jay
