I have version 4.00.A5 of CD4. I have exported EPS files which Pagemaker 5.0 is unable to read ("checksum error"). This is the first I have tried to do this with CD4. I have had no trouble at all with CD3 EPS exports. Regards, Robert

I found the EPS file will be read by pagemaker if I set the header resolution to 0. any other setting. Of course, I'm unable to do layouts well with grey boxes. Robert

Robert, Corel 4A5 is loaded with bugs. Follow Ed's instructions to get a new version. Until then it *should* work if you export with no header although I wouldn't trust it for paying work. Foster.

Robert: You should contact Corel for the Maintenance Revision to Draw! 4 (Rev B). You may call 800-77COREL or send E-mail (NOT A FORUM MESSAGE) to: Michael Raymond(SL)..75430,333 Donna Bertrand(SL)…72410,301 If you already have a successfull installation of Draw! 4 and want to keep it but update it to the fixed version, ask for the Update Patch–either CD-ROM or Floppy. Part number "SW40-PATCH" If you have not yet installed or your installation failed or you want to remove what you have and do a complete reinstall (This is my recommendation), ask for the Rev B complete disk set, either CD-ROM or floppy. Part number "SWQ023-E40B3" Include your serial number. -Ed

Robert, download EPSFIX.COM from the library here. It contains a replacement EXPEPS.DLL file that fixes the problem in the image header. This is fixed in the "B" revision of Corel Draw 4. JC
