I need help getting my 500 to connect to CIS. I am running 2.04 on my 500 with
3 meg of memory and a small HD. The term program I am using is TERM 4.0, now
for the problem, I can't log-on to CIS using the Amiga, it seems the minute it
connects it comes up in some kind of weird lang. I have no problem hooking up
to any local boards around the area just when I hook up to CIS. I have tried
changeing the terminal emulation settings to every choice i have available, but
no luck.
It's not in the modem as I am using it now with the old trusty C-128 Just can't
figure thois one out, any ideas????????
I had a similar problem using "The Works". It looked like a foreign language,
and was the same each time. I never solved it, but a friend said he had. I
think he said that he appended *ANSI to his user ID when he logged in, eg
75546,3516*ANSI. I finally managed to log in using NComm.
