Mark – A lot depends on if your printer takes envelopes sideways or straight on. If it takes them sideways, you need to have FCII rel 2, which allows landscape printing under Project|Page Setup – when you set the Width to anything larger than 8.5 (9.5 for std. business envelopes), the program assumes you want landscape (yes, it's quirky, but it works). 8^| Set the Height to 4.2 to round it out. If you feed envelopes straight on (like my HP DJ500C), then go into Project|Page Setup and change the _Height_ to 4.2 inches (for a normal business envelope) – leaving the Width at 8.5 in. You then get a screen page the size of an envelope, and can type and align addresses to your hearts content. Something else I did was to set this up once, with all the margins, etc. positioned correctly, and save the file as ENVELOPE.BLANK or something like that. I suppose you could get really fancy and make a style to do it, or even program a macro to pull the address directly from a letter… ideas, ideas… Buzz me if you need any add'l help. 8^) – Rob. Hi Robert, you know that was so simple i missed it completly!!! i was trying to change the screen size the wrong way….making it print in landscape when the enves go in straight.. i hate when that happens.. thanks, -mark-

I believe there is a macro here for FCII that will automate the envelope process. You just highlite the address information in your letter and it takes it from there. Search the library under FCII or FinalCopy. Gary on AutoPilot from Charlotte, NC
