You need to open up a dos book or two to see how to use statemets like DEVICE\C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE RAM X=….-…. DOS=HIGH,UMB The … refers to various ram addresses that might need to be excluded. Ron

>You need to open up a dos book or two … Jeez, I hardly know where to start… I've been poring over those books about the Microsoft variety of "Disk Operation System" that I own. The problem was that Commodore's Expanded memory manager didn't handle 'loading high'. My particular problem is, of course, hating to deal with this primitive junk. I could go on.. Let's just leave it that this particular problem is solved. -DonM – On Autopilot from 1Q1 – Chickenlips doesn't sell Amigas, we just buy them!

After all these years on Amiga, I had to get training in memory management to be able to properly use a pc! How disgusting! Ron
