I remember some discussion awhile back regarding the desirability of having a program like Quicken on the Amiga. Check out CHKITO.LHA CheckItOut-11. It's a solid program that come's the closest to Quicken as far as ease and functionality of anything I've seen. It even has some features that are better than Quicken. -Richard

Richard, Does it support automatic drafts and payments? (For example, can you say, " on the 15th of every month move $30 from checking A to Bill B"? You know, like a mortgage or loan payment that you have automatically deducted from your account.) wmc – via Autopilot!

I didn't notice this feature. Seems like it would be a good suggestion for the programmer. It does automatically update any other accounts affected by the manually entered transaction. -Richard

I wasn't that impressed. Not only is it not font sensitive, it freezes my machine as soon as it opens its second window on startup. Paul (aka Mr. Zombie)

Does anyone know when CheckItOut! will support printout, what it costs, and where is it available from?

CheckItOut is in the libs here, but beyond that you should ask Richard or the author. I've had no success with it. Paul (aka Mr. Zombie)

Thanks. I have downloaded it and it looks promising to me. But the library copy doesn't contain a working report or print function. I would like to know when it will be operable and how much it will cost.

Richard, Thanks for the info. I kinda got spoiled by DeskTop Budget. It was great expcept for one or two nasty bugs that Gold Disk never fixed. Then 2.0 came along and it broke. The author never updated it. I'm always on the lookout for a replacement. wmc – via Autopilot!

I got the latest version in the libraries today and it looks promising except that it does not do auto-font adjust. On my system, the windows get all screwy with the fonts I am using. -Jonathan MAC Quadra 900 and 486DX emulation on Amiga. Emplant beta tester. Running AP v1.77. E-mail: JonathanB@delrina.com
