I have had the chance to download and play around with navflyer and will give some feedback. It seems like it has alot of potential, however in its current state the resolution of the objects you can navigate around is to primitive to be used for end user purposes. I also had difficulty loading in some complex dfx files. It would be nice if it also ran in windows and allowed you to bring in 3ds files and their associated attributes. If you have some new things on the horizon I certainly would be willing to give it a whirl. Sam Coor Medical Media

Thanks for the reply…. Yes the mesh sizes are very limiting for anything to come close to real-time using this default CDK VESA driver. Especially so for a medical mesh I would assume, being anotomically correct. Please stay tuned for future releases to improve on the display performance. We have a faster DOS version due out soon for this free version, and yes we will be in Windows when CDK release 2 ships. When you say you had trouble loading in more complex dxf files, did they not load at all or did they fly so slow that it was prohibitive. Would the mesh you have here in the library be a good example for us to test on? This is an imortant issue that we would appreciate working with you on. And yes, 3DS meshes could be supported in the Flyer very easily. We have it in NAVIGATOR now. We will include it in the next version for registered users for sure. Please do check out the new stuff and "give it a whirl". Thanks for the time in helping us to make this CDK thing work! Feedback helps!!! Please contribute generously… Thanks again Angela Pate

the mesh file I uploaded would be very helpful if you could get it to display fast. The files I tried did not load at all. If you get good display speed with the vertebrae I would be very interested. I also spoke with Aimtech today regarding intergrating your viewer, navigator, into their program. He said Bill Schroenger will be giving you a call about the CDK. Thanks Sam
