I am still trying to find a source for buying bulk blank video tapes. Can you offer a suggestion or two? I am located in NJ but would not mind buying via mail order. I need a source for 1/2 hour or less tapes in both VHS and SVHS format.

Check out the Nov issue of New Media. I think I saw an editorial on bulk tapes. They even mentioned getting short ones (5,10,15 min,etc) SW

IMHO I would never use looped tapes. I cannot imagine the quality hanging in there. I think you must be getting ready for a show or something. Bite the bullet and recopy your stuff over and over again on the same tape, and press rewind. The cool thing about the PAR is it is fairly easy to loop the longer stuff with great quality.

The guys manning the booth are too lazy to hit rewind and play once every 120 minutes. I'm almost certain the vcr they want to use rewinds automatically anyhow. I always let the PAR loop away unattended, just wondered if a looped tape was worth a look. Thanks for the feedback. Bob

Try VU VIDEOS, INC. (800)-637-4336. You have to buy at least 50 VHS tapes, or 10 S-VHS. Tape lengths are 10,30,60, and 120 minutes. Maybe 5 min. too. They sell cases too, S-VHS come with cases. I'll send prices e-mail.
