#Movie Quote

Gary,
Sorry to bug you with this, but its been bugging me for weeks. You had a
quick response to someone a while ago…"We don't need no stinking badges!"
I'm sure its delivered with a Latin American accent. What movie is this from?
"Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid"?
This is the kind of stuff (other than 3DS) that keeps me up all
night…<g>

Sorry for interrupting, but this was too funny not to! (This was a big
saying when I worked in a cannery in Alaska!) I believe it was
"Gotcha!", just after the latino guy told his buddies to hold off the
feds, and the feds ask for badges….I think you remember the rest.
Thanks for the memory rush!

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre – 1947
Bruce- "Treasure of the Sierra Madre"- I haven't seen that for a
while. That's probably it. For some reason my brain thought it was
from a more recent and comedy-oriented movie.
Dan- "Gotcha" – Don't think I've seen that. That's the water
pistol spy game turned bloody movie, right? Maybe they were paying
homage to "Treasure?"
Anyway, I just really like saying "we don't need no stinking
badges!" My friends and I are big on saying the same things over and
over. It shows our creativity, I think.

It was, as Bruce states, originally from Treasure of the Sierra Madre,
but of course it has been satired twenty million times since then.
If you ask me, the all time best movie for quotes has to be
Airplane!.
"So, Do you like Gladiator movies?"
or the classic: "Surely you can't be serious." "I am serious. And
don't call me Shirley"
And the million more from that pop into my head. Gotta go rent that
movie again.
Yes, Airplane has got some great lines! I'm a big fan of all
the Zucker, Abrams, Zucker movies (Top Secret, Back to School, Hot
Shots, Naked Gun, etc…)
My favorite movie for quotes is Caddyshack:
"Right in the lumberyard, Danny."
"Na na na na na na na… fa fa fa fa fa fa…"
"Don't be so hard on yourself, Judge; your a terrific slouch."
"Pool and a pond… the pond would be good for you."
"It was probably just a routine emergency."
yea, Caddyshack is an excellent movie, especially since it has not
plot whatsoever. A few off the top of my head:
"you take drugs Danny?"
"Everyday."
"good"
"you gonna eat your fat?"
"So what do you like to do?"
"Skinny-Skiing, going to bullfights on acid…"
of course there are others, but they can't be mentioned here…

My favorites were: "You'll have nothing and like it!", and "Honey,
could you pass me my Loofa?" (or something like that…) <g>
More Caddyshack:
"How about a Fresca?"
"Moose, Rocko, help the judge find his wallet."
"I tell ya, golf courses and cemeteries, the biggest waste of prime real
estate."
"Rat farts!"
"I don't think the heavy stuff's going to come down for some time yet."
etc.,
Paul
