Could anyone tell me the major differences between 3D Studio (full
version) and the recently released Consumer Ed.? I'm interested in
doing some things for myself (not for professional purposes) and I'm
wondering which features I would give up by buying this version.
There are no differences between any of the 3D Studio programs. The
only possible things you would be giving up would be authorized
support, the ability to upgrade at a special price, or things like
that. The program itself will have exactly the same features.

Could you elaborate on this 3D Studio Consumer Edition just mentioned?
Target market, price, etc. First mention I've seen, other than some Federal
Programs specials.
