>> Sony EVO 9650 edit deck (everyone want to sell these don't they?) Yup. They are great entry-level decks with good image quality, but the PAR and MAX are making them obsolete. I have two here and would like to sell one also.

Hi (!), I'm interested in putting 3DSr3 stuff onto tape but don't know where to start – would your 'Sony EVO 9650 edit deck & SoftVTR PC frame accurate control software ' be enough or do I need more kit ? How much by the way ? Thanks, SJB

James, What exactly do you want to put to tape and what purpose would it suit you, if so we could give you more tips on what exactly you would need to do your recordings. BTW I'm in Belgium

SJB: >> I'm interested in putting 3DSr3 stuff onto tape but don't know where to >> start – would your 'Sony EVO 9650 edit deck & SoftVTR PC frame accurate >> control software' be enough… Actually, you got lucky. Autodesk includes drivers for the Sony EVO-9650 in R3 and R4, so you don't need the SoftVTR. You will need some sort of framebuffer, though – a Targa+ would do fine. Greg Pyros
