>>>> I think I need to get some sleep…. Thank you. << >>sleep's a very good idea <g>. Ahhhhhhhhh! I did get some sleep last night and I'm back to normal. 🙂 BTW, I have a question. In windows, file manager does not show PAR directories. Whenever I click on par drive, it shows 'C' drive's directory. And if I click one of those directory disappear! (It shows but not there) Do you know what cause this problem? Thanks.

Hansoo, good to hear you got some sleep 😉 >> In windows, file manager does not show PAR directories. << Are you using a network? Does Windows know about your network? What version of the PAR software do you have?

>>Are you using a network? Does Windows know about your network? What >>version of the PAR software do you have? Yes, I'm using network under Windows for Workgroup. And I'm using 1.30b. When I connect two computer through network, I don't have any problem but PAR. Thanks.

Hansoo, >> When I connect two computer through network, I don't have any problem but PAR. << what type of network drive is the PAR set up as? In Lantastic we set it up as type = "other". If you don't then it won't work. Maybe it's the way you have your network configured.

Martin, >>what type of network drive is the PAR set up as? In Lantastic we set it up as >>type = "other". If you don't then it won't work. Maybe it's the way you have your >>network configured. I just use Microsoft Windows Network with no additional network. I can't find any thing about type settings.

Hansoo, >> I can't find any thing about type settings. << you will have to find some settings that refer to what kind of network resource you have. In Lantastic it's called "Shared Resources Management" in the Net_mgr program (net manager). Look for something like this.

Where's there a "type" setting for the PAR on a network…Martin any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. I'm running the par on a Novell Persnal Netware peer to peer between two Pentium 90's and I've never been able to have the PAR properly recognized on the machine that does not physically have the PAR installed on it … Big Thanks in advance for any help… Steve {: – )
