I just installed Windows NT 3.5 and I'm interested in the support for OpenGL it includes. Does anyone know of any OpenGL shareware? I'd just like to see what it's capable of (besides the screen savers that come with NT!).

Hi Richard, I understand that there's some discussion of OpenGL in the MSWIN32 forum. There's also a Usenet newsgroup you can subscribe to called comp.graphics.opengl. Other than that, sorry, no word! Regards, John Dowdell Macromedia Tech Support

Well, thanks for the info. It seems weird that Microsoft would include OpenGL and then not give you a way to use it. It's not like Microsoft to leave a potential market untapped <g> !

>>weird that Microsoft would include OpenGL and then not give you a way to use it. It's not like Microsoft to leave a potential market untapped<< Seems very like them to use every marketing buzzword they can. "Look, OpenGL! … Oh, I'm sorry, did you want to use it?" Word 6 had a lovely collection of buzzword features. Master Documents, auto outline numbering, intelligent cut and paste. God forbid you should actually trust your work to them. I made the mistake of trying to use it to write a book. Sorry, gates bashing is a reflex. <G>

Well, if the choice was between WordPerfect 6.ow and Word 6, I'd have to pick Word. Of course, that may be like choosing between hanging or electrocution! If the truth be known, most of the users here would be better off with the Write accessory that comes with Windows…
