#Paintbrush image

I am having a problem getting all of an image to appear in Paintbrush
v3.1. I piece together a picture in MS Publisher 2.0a, then link it
together, then copy it to the clipboard, then switch to Paintbrush,
then paste it on the paintbrush screen. What I see is what I get. The
part of the image that extends past the visible screen, is blank when
I scroll to the right.
I am trying to edit a PCX picture to improve the definition for a MS
Pub brochure. Paintbrush is a simple way to adjust the pixels, etc.
Do you have any suggestions? Why does Paintbrush allow the scroll
feature if the image does not come accross?
On another matter, I do not understand the various differences between
PCX and all the other formats available in Paintbrush. Can you give
be a description on which one does what best?
Hello. It is possible that your image size in Paintbrush is still set
to your screen size (640×480, 800×600, etc.), in Paintbrush go to
Options, Image Attributes and set the size (inches or pixels) to
match the graphic in MS Publisher. Hope this helps.
Paintbrush has a limit of pasting to the viewable area of the image
regardless of the immage attributes. I have
found the best results by turning off the tool bar and palatte to
increase the 'veiwable area'
