Ok you guys, I have a question. You're working on a demo. Now, as
the demo starts you'll prolly want to have an effect or two, and then
have the titles. The name of both the demo, and your group. Now the
demo is yet unnamed, and may well be dependant upon what the demo is
like, which none of us bystanders know, but the name of the group
might as well be hashed out, especially if we all can throw countless
useless suggestions at you.
Or is the name already picked as "The Demo Team"? I truely hope not, since
this is a very boring name. If you want to follow the tradition of asm demos
it has to be a really overhyped faceless technology power name thing. My
favorite name was probably "The Silents" which has this really neat feel to it,
but unfortunately when said sounds like "The Silence".
Dust, Anarchy, Future Crew, etc all have that je ne sais quoi of
cyberpunk teen stuff. But most anything can be made to sound
interesting if it's distinct and then you attach a killer demo to it.

Oh, and for an example of a name I think rots: Keen Like Frogs. 😛

Well, I guess we really don't have a name of the group or the
demo right about now. Thanks for your concern because it's nice to
know what other people think are neat and "powerful" names. If you
ask me, I like "Silence" or something like that. We have a
conference tonight so I think I'll start off with that question.

Well…we (The Demo Team) read this section. Although we don't reveal
our secret projects (until we get them to some stage of completion)
you are welcome to talk about what we should do.

Damn, and to think I was being original. The Silents seem to
have this naming thing down pretty well.. Optic Nerve, Hardwired..
I think I would name my group (if I ever had one) Frenetic.
You are right, we need a cool name. Hey lets have a name the demo team
competition. Winner gets a free copy of our first demo. <g>
