#Power Macintosh Users
4 messages in this thread
Hi,
I'm a freelance writer working on a feature about the Power Macintosh. I
figure if anybody has a need for that kind of equipment, it's someone who deals
with computer animation. If you use a powermac and have a few minutes to spend
telling me about how you use it and whether you like it, please let me know,
either on the forum or by return mail.
Thanks for your time,
Robert
The folks at NBC's corporate graphics department use Elastic Reality on Power
Macintoshes for a great deal of special effects used on their network. That
comes to mind…there are lots of others examples.

Robert, I am doing a couple of projects for DIC Enterprises right now for the
TV cartoon, "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego". We use the Power MAC for
image work and soon will be hooking up the Linker Animation Stand. We currently
use #d Studio for 3D development work and 2D as well, but it is PC based, of
course.

Thanks Doug (and also Jason from Elastic Reality) for your replies. My initial
deadline passed but I plan to continue following the PowerMac as it develops,
so I appreciate the initial feedback and I may well be back in touch.
Best wishes,
Robert
