What is the highest quality picture Playmation, Playmation 2, or Animation
Master can produce (24bits,32bits,64bits)?
Just wondering.Might buy one of your products.
Thanks,
Daniel
At this time 24 bit is it… as soon as we have our post module out, you will
be able to use 32 bit Targas…

Steve,
Saving as a QuickTime file with colors set to millions+ produces an alpha
channel, which is REAL convenient for bring into Premiere or Cosa After Effects
for compositing. Isn't that 32bit???

Yes, this technique will produce a 32 bit image, this is only useful when when
using QT….

Yes, BUT, (for stills work) I can save a one frame QuickTime movie, open the
movie in simple player (or any other player app), copy the frame and paste it
into photoshop. The areas can be used to create an alpha channel, which can
then be used for compositing.
Also Cosa After Effects will use the alpha channel info. I can then composite
with other images and save as a pict file (for stills).
So, for me, this has enabled me to do what I need, so far…<g>

p.s. The new demo tape is awesome!! Just love Rod's Talking Head and the Balls
& Blocks (of the stuff that was from before is excellent too.)
How about a training tape for Rod's techniques and one for the interaction of
the Block and the Ball that trys to help it?
Ok Jim, you win! there is advantages to 32 bit QT <G> As for the Head and
Balls and Blocks, we are trying to convince the respective authors to provide
tutorial materials…
