#Can't See Section

I cannot see the Elastic Reality section in Anvena. Can one of the Go Graphics people help me out here? Perry

Greg, At the company, our technical support people (who use WINCIM) can see it, but I (who uses the command line interface) cannot. What gives? Perry

Perry, Thats odd. I use Wincim also and still can't see it. Lemme check my forum settings. Ok, just checked in ascii mode. There is no section currently set up for ER in this forum. I checked my OPTions to check if I just didn't have the section active…but there's no section to have active! <g> Are you positive that the section the folks at work can see while using WinCim is in this forum, and not the one in AmigaVen? -GreG

PMJI, but I've gotta question for you; could you give a brief description of what the Transjammer (?) part of ER is? John Stetzer JWS PS. Using WinCIM, to only new section I see is for North Coast Software (in my autopilot settings, at least); is this you?

John, No, we're not North Coast. Our section should be fully visible now, ask WinCIM to refresh your section lists. TransJammer… Think of TransJammer as an illustration of just how amazingly powerful the innards of Elastic Reality really is. Now I know that sounds like a lot of hype, and I'm sorry for that, but it's a fair statement. TransJammer is a (large) collection of sophisticated transitional effects each with up to 8 variations. These transitional effects go way beyond simple wipes, slides, pushes, etc. For example, we've included a tribute to the Video Toaster's pioneering role reminiscent of their KIKI wipe. Each transition is fully antialiased and is completely resolution independent (both in time and image size). And, here's the kicker, completely editable by you with Elastic Reality. Every TransJammer transition is just shapes that you drag-and-drop to create the transition you have in mind. Elastic Reality is, in effect, a WYSIWYG transition generator (and TransJammer is a "handy" front end that hides Elastic Reality). I'd love to tell you more and answer any other questions you might have.. but we're imposing on Hash, Inc. by having this thread in their forum (which was caused by me, I know). So as to not wear out my welcome with the Hash, Inc. reps, I'll keep this short. (Please post any follow-ups to the Elastic Reality section, newly available HOORAY!) Thanks Perry
