Hello there, i am a new AM-user, and i have a question about sculpture. I tried to design a head, so i first lathe a spline. Then i tried to manipulate some points to design b.e. the nose and so on. Unlikely the points in some regions were not close enough. I am looking for a tool or an explanation how to add points in such an object without creating holes etc.. Its very hard to add some points and get them connected with the lathed object without holes, because the patches should only have four points. Who can help? Thanks a lot … Hartmut

Hartmut, my suggestion would be to purchase our Training tape set for 50.00 olus shipping… it goes into great detail on modeling… Steve, Hash Inc.

Yeah, sounds great, but i need this video in PAL, not in NTSC. I am searching for a PAL-video-copy of the video inside the program-package, too. Can you tell me more about your video's? Hartmut

Steve, Yesterday I got an error/warning message that was programed in instead or "Are you sure?" when setting Lathe Precision value above 64… (it was 200 and it worked) It asked "Have you gone mental?" Now, remembering all this fight about a:M interface being non-standard, I would have to ask the cristics: when was the last time you got a good laugh while trying to create some mechanical looking ribbed cylinder? Thanks guys! Don't go too corporate! Pawel PS. Thank you for the update disks.

Harmut, The training tapes will be the best money spent, they cover this, and mechanical modeling, and natural looking walking animation and… and… <G>. Jim Jonah
