Welcome to all Imagineers and to all 3D enthusiasts! Impulse has expanded it's support areas to better facilitate it's user base which now spans 2 Platforms, with more to follow. Their 3D Modelling/Animation software, Imagine, is now at version 3.0. You can download a features list "FEATUR.TXT" from section 3, describing many of the new features implemented. While there, feel free to view any of the fantastic imagery created by your peers. Mike Halvorson, President of Impulse will be on frequently to answer your questions, concerns, wants, likes and dislikes. <g> I will also be on regularly to assist, and maintain this section. Please stop by the IMAGINE UserGroup section in the Graphics Developers Forum (GO GRAPHDEV), section 19. Between these two areas I'm sure you'll find everything you've ever Imagined! -GreG tsadilas P.S. Some hot new announcements are right around the corner…so stay tuned!

GreG, What will be the relationship between the Imagine section here and the one over in Graphdev and the one in Amigaven? Will the others be phased out eventually? Just wondering, Phil.

>> What will be the relationship between the Imagine section here and the one over in Graphdev and the one in Amigaven? << Phil, This area is primarily for Vendor support, Blatant advertising <g>, New announcements, etc. What happens with the Impulse section in the Amiga forums remains to be seen, and is up to Impulse to decide. The Imagine UG in GraphDev and this forum, for now, seem to be redundant. As this forum grows, the distinction between the two will hopefully be made. If not, I would imagine that the Imagine UG in Gdev will be merged into this forum. Feel free to share your thoughts on how you would like to see both areas function. -GreG

Greg, Formal vendor support is handled here; artistic use of software is handled in GRAPHDEV. Matt Drury The 'Go Graphics' Group

Yo GreG! Cool another Imagine section! Hey with two sections what'll be the split in topics? Would this area be for technical problems, new feature begging, etc and the Imagine user group focus on tips and techniques, artistic discussion (or with some of your classic images – debate<g>)? I'm anxious to hear some neat stuff! Ask Mike to give us some juicy tidbits! <G> Sharky -08:02:09 HST, Honolulu, Hawaii, NAVCIS Pro 1.21

Sharky, The direction of both forums remains to be seen. Right now in Gdev there are a lot of technique questions…that can be handled here as well. Once this forum gets underway a little bit more, I'll see whether the Imagine UG is necessary. -GreG
