GreG, I used the 8-bit Targa output format today and am having problems getting most graphics programs to read it. It is an image with a lot of blue. When I 24-bit Targa's and 256 color TIF's they are fine. But, when I generate 8-bit Targa's, almost everything see's the blue as red: VPIC, CSHOW, Photo Shop Pro, DTA, GWS all see the Targa image as red and the TIF image correctly as blue. GDS won't even recognize the format. Are all these programs reading the palette wrong? The interesting thing is that DFV (same author as DTA) reads it correctly. Any ideas? -Marco

GreG, A while ago, I sent Dave some FLC's that Imagine produced that DFV couldn't handle well. The latest version of DFV (1.1) handles them fine. I think my version of DTA is older (2.1.0), so maybe the changes haven't percolated down to the DTA code. I also just discovered that I can't use an Imagine FLC as an input to DTA without a crash. Thanks for the response. -Marco
