When I start 3ds3, I get a mouse not responding error. I then click the ok button and the program starts. We use Summagraphics MM 1201 tablets. If anyone can help, I'd say thank you! Loren

<<<When I start 3ds3, I get a mouse not responding error. I then click the ok button and the program starts. We use Summagraphics MM 1201 tablets >>> 1.) If you want to use the tablet as a mouse (relative mode), make sure you load the tablet's mouse emulation driver before running 3DS. 2.) If you want to use the tablet as a tablet (absolute mode), take note of the following: I use a 1201 also. Once in awhile I get that too. Hit the * (shift-8 or on keypad), and see if the input device is set to tablet. If it is, use the AREA function to maximize your working area. If your puck or stylus buttons don't work use the ENTER key on your keyboard. When you get back to the 3DE (or whatever) the tablet should work OK (If your ADI driver is installed correctly). Once your tablet is responding save the curent status of 3DS in a .prj called 3DS.prj. If the input device is set to mouse then you may have to edit your 3DS.set file (see 3DS docs) and set a DOS Varible equal to your ADI driver. Also when using the tablet ADI driver it sometimes "locks up" or input values go crazy. When this happens, I've found the quickest fix is to power the tablet OFF then ON. The cursor comes right back (until the next time) and you can get back to work. Good Luck, -P.M.
