Is there a way to save a path in the Keyframer and Bring it back in to the 3D
Lofter? This would allow me to make mathematical equations into paths for
objects in the Keyframer Via Keyscript, and then use them to creat geometry in
the Lofter.
ANy help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

The sysop said someone wrote a program that makes .dxf files for lofter import.
I don't know, I think it can only load .lft files. But if it can load .dxf
files, from what I've seen of those they are pretty easy to create, simple
ASCII type files. though I looked at some and they differ greatly. I tried to
find some 2D DXFs to look at but 3DS didn't come with any. At any rate you
could have limited success by making 2D DXF's, bring em into shaper then into
lofter as paths, though your missing a dimension.

Public domain IPAS that takes an object, camera or light's position keys and
save them as a 3D POLYLINE in a DXF-file. The DXF file can then be loaded
into 3D-Lofter as path. Note that the line between the keys will be
straight as the 3D-Polyline in DXF has no spline values. Program by :

Any chance of getting that ipas to run the opposite direction. Assci to
keyframer?

Yeah, That would be great too, although if you can put it into the lofter, you
can bring it into the keyframer from there.

If you bring it into the lofter, you can add curvature and fine tune your path.
I don't think that an ASCII DXF file can represent all that curvature. So
instead go into the keyframer and get the path from the lofter.
