No, JKJ was probly at home building a nuclear reactor or something more complex
for fun. Back then the rest of us were on our quest for the ultimate mind
expanding experience (usually involving some chemistry), and the Twin Air
Drive-In was one of the best sources of entertainment because they had stereo
speakers on the poles. After "Freaks" I was in no way prepared for anything
like "Andalusian Dog." But all this time, I thought that was a goat's eye in a
human socket or one belonging to an unfortunate vagrant in a drunken stupor
that got sliced. Good thing the ASPCA wasn't around back then or neither flick
would have gotten made. <G> Now I must find a copy so I can see the HUMOR
again… HA! …B.

BTW
Un Chien Andulou (The Andalucian Dog ) and some other wierd films that arnt in
the same league are or were available from Vidio
Yesteryear as #83 "Avant Guarde and Experimental Films". Last I heard they were
at Video Images, Box C, Sandy Hook, CT 06482.
Other stuff available from them includes Walt D. when he was drawing his own
and the double length Popeyes with the 3D backgrounds.
