Anyone know of a screen capture utility which will also capture the
mouse pointer (shareware or commercial is ok)? I've found a few
sharware utilities which capture the screen, but none capture the
mouse pointer.
I need to create a demo of the app I'm working on and I need this
functionality. Actuall… what I'm trying to do is capture a series of
screen shots (including mouse) and create an .flc animation.
If anyone out there has any ideas or information on tools please let
me know!
Hi Buzz, Our Animator Pro product ships with a screen capture utility
called Pixelpop which will capture whatever you have displayed on
your screen. However, it gets kinda finicky when using VESA
compliant drivers.
My favorite, recently, is HiJaak for Windows (it also has a Dos
capture function) from Inset Systems, 203-740-2400. It handles a
hefty range of file types and has worked well for me.

What environment (DOS or Windows or Mac) are you attempting capture
on, and what application specifically are you in when you want
capture? Lots of ways to do this based on these two questions. Do you
want to capture Animator Pro screens? -dave
