I have bought a copy of 3D Studio 3.0 in Australia and am now living in Paris, France. I've tried to contact Autodesk here in France but to no avail. What's new!!! Could I get an upgrade through a US dealer? Do I simply send the one of the disks and credit card details to a dealer in the US and they can send me the update? I've heard that Digimation is a good dealer. Could you please give me the names and details of the best dealers in the US.

<<Please call Customer Service at 800-538-6401 and ask for International Customer Service and they will be happy to assist you.>> But I don't think calling from Paris, France wil be free though? Is there a way I can obtain this information through CompuServe? Thanks.

David – Catrina may not have noticed your French (European) account number; you could try our office in St.Thibault-des-Vignes; they are at (Voice) 33-1-600-71414 and (FAX) 33-1-600-76918. I didn't see your original question; what was it you were asking?

<<I didn't see your original question; what was it you were asking?>> I was wanting to know if I could upgrade my copy of 3DS 3.0 from an American company. I bought the program in Australia and am now living in France. Since I have no affinity with the French Autodesk I figured that I could have it upgraded in America. I was wanting to know if it was possible and how I could do it. The last reply was to call Autodesk in America but I figured that it would be expensive. If I could get the same information through Compuserve I would appreciate it. Thanks!

David – I'll have to ask around and get an answer – I'm in the Training Dep't and don't know much about upgrade issues. I'm teaching this week, but I'll try to get back to you by Friday.
