I am also interested in this area. However from a different viewpoint. I am an
ATC Manager, and our ATC is looking at new courses and uses for CAD and
Animation. We are considering 3DS courses aimed at different markets and I am
very impressed with the current use of 3DS in F.A.
I would be looking at the Educational needs of a Forensic Animator, and what
other skills would be helpfull.

Will add you to the list & look to you for assistance also. I have taught a
few classes from my own experiences. We could use some formalized classes in
all areas.

Rick — Just jumping into the mddle of this thread — Are you starting an
organization, looking to start one or what? I've been involved in FA since 1987
and would like to talk to you about it.
It would be great to have you on board. I am in the process of
getting this "thing" started. Main goal (if you missed the beginning
of thread ) is to setup and provide testing & certification.
Basically to avoid losing the market from adverse rulings. Also to
haelp promote in areas now resticting animation. Will send more off
forum. Too expensive here!
Looking forward to hearing more about the association. I may be able to help as
a clearing house/register for cases in which animation is offered. I left
Autodesk a few months ago after five years of work on the 3D Studio docs, and
I'm now working as a free-lance writer in the 3DS/animation field.
